Our Programs
Mobile Disaster and Crisis Response Program
OYEN springs into action during community tragedies, deploying our mental health mobile response team. We deliver prompt crisis intervention, invaluable psychoeducation, essential psychotherapy, and expert referrals, among other critical services. We provide behavioral health services to communities and community organizations who do not have access to such services in their local community. Rely on us for immediate, culturally sensitive support and comprehensive care during times of crisis, ensuring mental health needs are met effectively and empathetically.
Our behavioral health therapists offer flexible scheduling options, including in-person and telehealth appointments, throughout the week and weekend, ensuring accessibility and convenience for our diverse communities. We also have licensed master-level clinicians who are fluent in Spanish. We can provide culturally-tailored, trauma-informed, in-person psychotherapy (talk therapy).

Digital Access & Equity Services
Recognizing the impact of the digital divide on our communities, OYEN is committed to providing equitable technical support and training programs tailored to bridge this gap. Our initiatives empower individuals to navigate virtual platforms confidently, ensuring access to essential mental health and therapy services for all.
Grief and Loss Provider
OYEN has received training from The Dougy Center on grief and loss, establishing OYEN as the first Latino grief and loss provider to undergo training in the state of Oregon. When tragedy hits a community, OYEN is able to provide the support and vital tools needed during the grief and loss process. With our bilingual (Spanish) staff, we are able to give communities the services needed in their native language.
The Dougy Center provides support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults, and families who are grieving can share their experiences before and after a death.
Immigration Mental Health Evaluations
We aim to offer a thorough assessment of your mental health and the profound effects of your past experiences on your overall well-being. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding that goes beyond the surface, delving into the emotional and psychological impacts you've encountered. We also explore the potential impact for you and your family should deportation occur. Our evaluations are designed to support your immigration journey with empathy and insight, ensuring that your mental health and personal circumstances are accurately represented.
Suicide Rapid Response
OYEN is a certified partner organization with Lines For Life’s Suicide Rapid Response (SRR) program. OYEN can quickly mobilize to assist a community impacted by suicide, or a sudden death, and offer postvention support to affected communities in the state.
Lines For Life is a regional non-profit dedicated to preventing substance abuse and suicide and promoting mental wellness. Their SRR program is designed to provide additional state resources to a community’s suicide loss of a youth/young adult under 24 years of age and provide work in suicide prevention and postvention.
