Oregon. OYEN Emotional Wellness Center is incredibly proud to announce that Selia Ramon, LCSW, Director of Operations at OYEN, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Oregon Women of Impact Rising Star Award, presented by Oregon Conferences for Women (OCW), a Salem-based organization dedicated to empowering women and celebrating their leadership and achievements.
The Rising Star Award recognizes an emerging female leader who is making a meaningful difference through her professional achievements, community involvement, and dedication to creating opportunities for others.
This recognition celebrates Selia's outstanding leadership, compassion, and commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families throughout Oregon. As a bilingual clinical social worker, community advocate, and emerging leader under the age of 30, Selia has already made an extraordinary impact in the communities she serves.

Born and raised in Woodburn, Oregon, Selia has maintained a deep connection to the community that helped shape her values and passion for serving others.
As OYEN's Director of Operations and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Selia plays an important role in advancing our mission to provide accessible, culturally responsive mental health services to individuals and families across Oregon.
Her leadership reflects a commitment to recognizing the unique experiences, cultural backgrounds, and challenges individuals face when seeking mental health support.
Through her professional work, Selia continues to advocate for communities that have historically experienced barriers to behavioral health services, helping create opportunities for more individuals and families to receive the care and support they deserve.
Her accomplishments at such a young age are a powerful reflection of the difference compassionate, community-centered leadership can make.

Selia's dedication to helping others extends far beyond her professional responsibilities.
Throughout her career, she has supported individuals and communities navigating some of life's most challenging circumstances, including the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and devastating wildfires across Oregon.
Her work has included providing support related to grief, loss, and suicide prevention, helping individuals and families access care and resources during difficult times.
Selia has also dedicated her time to assisting families experiencing immigration-related challenges, connecting them with resources, guidance, and emotional support.
These efforts reflect her belief that meaningful mental health care goes beyond traditional clinical settings. It also involves understanding the experiences of the communities we serve, building trust, and creating spaces where people feel supported and understood.

Empowering the Next Generation
One of the many ways Selia continues to make a difference is through her dedication to young people in her hometown.
As a girls' soccer coach at Woodburn High School, Selia serves as a mentor and advocate for young athletes, particularly girls from underserved communities.
Through coaching, she helps create an environment where young women feel encouraged, empowered, and confident in their abilities, both on and off the field.
Her involvement reflects a broader commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation and ensuring young people have access to the encouragement, resources, and support they need to succeed.
As a third-generation therapist, Selia also carries forward a family legacy rooted in helping others while creating her own path as a leader, advocate, and role model.
Her influence can be felt in the workplace, in schools, on the soccer field, and throughout the communities she continues to serve.
